My self Glenn, Chris, Christy, Tony, and Kare all played this game together but Chris and I never ended up that with something on are head or face or even on are body. Santa just happen to find us at Grandma and Grandpa Breretons home this Christmas Eve, and we each got to sit with him and let him know are last minute wishes. Cassi still would not sit with Santa on her own ,but with a little help form me and the candy in Santa's bag we got her there for a picture.

I had to put they pictures of my parents siting with Santa it not often that you get a picture of your father acting like one of the kids, I love it.

Hilton Christmas Party 2009

The Hilton party was held at the PG seiner citizen center this year and we had a good time it included pizza and dessert and the nativity scene that the kids put on each year. Cassi would have nothing to do with her costume but she had fun watching. The the girl sang and Shelbie played the piano. Santa and miss clause came and we got to take picture with them, Glenn was already at work by that time come to think of it he is at work when that time comes around. I'm starting to see pattern there. It was fun.

I love Halloween and getting to dress up the girls got to pick there costumes this year and it was fun letting the pick how they would be. Shelbie was princess Laya and Bailey was a good old glow in the dark skeleton. Cassi got to wear the lamb costume that was made when Shelbie was two and it fit her great even Glenn got into the Halloween spirit this year and was the crow and he had a lot of people scared along with Cassi it took her some time to get used to him. I was Pocahontas and got to wear my costume to work this year.

It become a yearly event to go to Jenny and Jerad's to carve pumpkins and we all have a great time making a big mess and watching the creative minds of each of the kids. We have treats and carve the pumpkins in the garage by a big fire place and at the end the kid get to display there hard work.

Well from March 2008 to November 2009 it up dated. Now I have nine months of school and all be done. I can't promise that I will keep it caught up but all try. It dose make you ask your self were all your time goes, when you look back and see all that has happened in the past year. Elk Hunt 2009 !

This year we went as a family to scoufield to hunt on uncle Paul's land. We staid in the cabin which was nice because it got very cold the second day and we even got snow. The kids loved it, and it was so nice to get away togetherThe girls learned how to shut the Bee-Bee gun. Shelbie caught on very fast and it didn't take Bailey to long until she was knocking those cans down.

Cassi, my self and Grandma Giles staid in and keep warm by the fire,wail Shelbie and Bailey Played out side in the wind and snow.
Glenn got his elk in that same storm and came back an ice cube, but we need the meat so it was good to see it.

I'm out of school and it time to catch up, so let get started!!
Christmas eve we let the girls open one gift, and of course it was PJ's

Christmas was great the girls loved there gifts, and so did Glenn and I. It was fun to see Cassi get gifts because she didn't really get it. Her favorite gift was her car seat.

This is the first time that Cassi got to bath with her big sisters she loved it and we can't keep her out of the tub now.

On to the new year! Glenns family came up and hung out, we played games and watch movies to bring in 2009 it was great to have every one with us. Surprise, Surprise! Glenns 30th birthday party was great so many people can to support Glenn on his big day. it was a surprise party at Noah's and I think we surprise him a little.

Cassi found a great new spot to sit, she loves to climb on to the fire place and sit on the edge.February was a great month for Bailey, she was star of the week and also had her 6th Birthday. As star of the week she gave donuts to her class, and each day of the week she brought some thing that she loved to show the class.
Bailey Birthday was a golf under the see them she wanted a party at trafalga were we played mintier golf and speed ball and dance,dance revolution,then she got to open presents at the house before dinner at Mi Ranchido.

Bailey got a lot of great gifts, but as you can see her bike made her fall to the floor.

My Grandma said that I should not wait until I was out of school to put new pictures up so her are some new ones for her. there would be more but I erased all my pictures back to September the night of Baileys dance recital it made me sick, and it dose every time I think about it.

Shelbie took gymnastic this year and not dance but she was there to support her little sis.

I have know Glenn since Junior high but I meet him after high school at harts gas station in AF, when I was on my way back to Ricks. he gave me his number and told me to call him and he would take me out for Valentine's but i didn't do it. We meet at BJ's gas station in PG in June and went out then.

He also can clean the house, do laundry, make a great meal, and even do little girls hear that a mom would approve of, and he can do all of this in one day and have a full time job, a part time job, and be a volunteer for the fire department all at the same time. Our Cupcake is One

How fast a year goes buy, It feels just like yesterday Cassi came to our family. She was so small and sweet and who knew how much love and joy she would bring to us. We love her so much.

Today was Cassi's big day her first birthday and we had a big party planed for her. She had friends and family coming to help celebrate the big day with her. she was so happy all day just as if she know that every thing going on around her was for her. We started with a bath and then She got into her birthday out fit.

Next it was out to meet her guess at her cup cake party, we had a barbecue and cup cake and ice cream. The weather was great, we spent the rest of the party out side in the yard.After singing Happy Birthday to Cassi we all watched as she played in her big cup cake she loved it, And made a great mess.

She had fun opening her gift that she got from every one that came. She was given lot of nice thing.

By the end of the night she was ready for bed it had been a fun day and I think she had a good time. We love are Cassi.

Yes, I have been excepted into the nursing program!! I start September 29th and will be done September 2010 Yeah. I'm scared but I have been waiting for this for a long time and I'm ready. It going to take allot of work but I have a great family and lots of support from them, I can't wait to get started. I may not be blogging much longer, most of my time will be at school and with my family, but all try keep up best I can.

Baileys First Day of School

Yes , today was the big day, my Bailey started school. It was so hard for me, I had to work and so Glenn was on his own, he did a great job. Who else would take such great picture of the most happy kindergartner there ever was. Glenn said this was her rock start pictures. 2008 was the year of great first outfits. Baileys pick was no other then high school musical and in red that here favorite, she is the best!!!!

Next it was of to the bus stop and onto the bus that she has watched take her big sister to school the last two year. Each time Bailey wishing that it was her turn, and at last it was. With Shelbie right there to help her all the way !!!!

Last of all Glenn followed Bailey to school and got some picture of her in line waiting to go into school. she knew right where to go.

Back to the doctor for Bailey

Bailey Got her cast of today and we were so happy when we got to see her finger again ! It had color and filling. Dr. Sullivan the Ortho surgeon was so amazed to see that the finger had made it Dr Sullivan was not the surgeon that had seen us in the ER but He could not get over the fact that it had been saved. They took X-rays to see what the bones were doing they were very happy with the resolutes, the Doctor even said that the fingers jaunt will move after some therapy. Baileys hand will be back to it old self again in no time.

Bailey met with physical therapy after the doctor's talked with her, they made her a brace to wear for the next three weeks, it's red because that's her very favorite color. She also learned some exercises to do with her hands and fingers to make them strong.

Thank you to every one that called or came to see Bailey and for all the great treat and gifts. Our Family knows that prayer truly works. Bailey is a beautiful example of that blessing. We are blessed, thank you for all of your prayers.

Back to School for Shelbie !!!

Shelbie went back to school monday, and boy was she happy!! she had to sport Hanna Montana this year, and she's the cutes girl I've seen. She walks to school with a lot of kids from the neighborhood it geart to see all the new kids coming into the ward. off she gose, my big girl -We love you shelbie.

I have been trying to write about what happened to are sweet Bailey this last week but it has been tuff to think about putting it into worlds but here I go. Wednesday Bailey and Shelbie were playing at the girls house that live next door. Glenn was working on the rock wall and I was in side, my mother and father had just stopped by and we were visiting. All at once Shelbie came running and cried that Bailey had just had here finger cut off. I and Glenn ran across the street and it was true she had about lost the hole finger, Glenn was so great he applied presser and I grabbed ice and into the truck we went, Glenn held Bailey and talked to her and Bailey was so strong she hardly cried and we made it to the hospital as fast as we could. The ER took one look at Bailey's finger and wrapped it up, then gave Bailey an IV to give her something for the pain they took a X-ray to see just witch part of the bone had been cut throw. The cut had gone throw the first joint on the right pointer finger. The Doctor came to Glenn and I and told us that Baileys finger was not viable, which means that it would not make it. My heart was breaking and my stomach was in knot's. My baby can't lose her finger, she can't. We asked Deon, Glenn's brother to come and help Glenn bless Bailey, after the blessing we talked about what we needed to do. Glenn and I knew we wanted a surgeon to look at her finger but Dr. Sanderson was at his daughter wedding and could not come. We were told that we could go to primary children's and see their surgeon, we felt this was what we should do, but the Doctor thought that we would get the same answer up there. We would take the chance so once again we packed Bailey into the truck and made are way up to Primaries. They made us go throw the ER again and it was the same thing no one look at Bailey's finger and the Doctor said that she had seen the X-ray and talked to the Doc at AF Hospital and that the finger was not viable and that it would not make it. We ask for the surgeon to still look at the finger, it took some time but she came and was the first to open the bandage and touched Bailey's finger and when she did Bailey could fill her touch the tip of the finger the part that was about off. The Doctor was so happy and told us that there were still nerves and blood flow to the tip of the finger and that all that needed to be done is to clean the finger and put it back together and it would make it, Bailey's finger WAS VIABLE. I ask that the surgeon do the surgery not the ER Doctor, she was not happy about this but after we had a good talk about what we had just gone through and that if she would not have come we may have let Bailey's finger go. By the time the surgery was done Bailey's finger had blood flow all the way to the nail again the Surgeon was so great and when Bailey woke up she had not felt or remembered a thing. They gave her some heavy antibiotics and some pain medicine and we made are way home. Bailey is doing good she has a lot of pain but we try are best to keep it under control,. She and all of us know that she is blessed and loved very much. So I Know your wondering what had happened, well the girls were making a fort and one of the girls got out a pair of garden shears to cut some tree branches. Bailey was helping move the branches and her finger got in the way, it was a sad and tragic accident. We would not wish it on anyone but we blame no one and love all the girls. We hope that they know that its ok and hope that they are ok as well.

The other day I was working on the computer at the desk in the kitchen. Cassi was playing by my chair and decided to make her way over to Ricky's food bowls. I watch as she look at me then took a piece and look at me again, I could not help my self, I wanted to see how fare she would go. She would have eaten the dog food but I stop her !!!

4th of July

We had a great 4th this year, Glenn of course worked with the fire department to set up, and light the fire works and the girls and I watched from the Jr high with Glenn's mom and dad. The show was short but very good this year.

The girls had fun playing with glow stick and eating lot of treats, they even played a little football. as we waited for the fire work to start.

Shelbie and bailey loved the show but Cassi not so much !!!

Hilton Heritage Heros 2008

This weekend was Glenn's Hilton family reunion, it started Friday night and went to Sunday afternoon. We had a great time with lot of fun things to do, good food and best of all great family. We look forward to it every year. This was the Giles family's year to run the show it turned out well I think. We had a hot dog dinner Friday and then Glenn's brother Deon told about the history of the American Fork canyon and then Glenn, Jason, and Deon retired a U.S flag. Saturday we made walking sticks and for each event you did that day you got a different thing to put on your walking stick. That after noon we played games and had a treasure hunt and that night we watched a great movie. Glenn had a fishing contest going on throughout the weekend and gave gifts to those who won. The girls did great, we spent the weekend in a tent and we know now that a trailer would be nice for our family, but all in all it was a great reunion.

Father Day was Short and Sweet, Glenn worked all day and then was on call for fire the rest of the night. So we gave him his gifts and had dinner between work and fire calls, but he had a good day!

I was put into scout about a year a go and have loved it, the boys are so great and its fun watching and hearing them learn and play, they are so much different then girls. We went to scout camp the first week in June and it was lots of fun, the boy did great and we learned a lot of new thing,

Shelbie had a great birthday this year! She had a big party at Jack and Jill's, there were about 25 people that came to help her celebrate with bowling, pizza, and cake. She got alot of wonderful gifts and we all had alot of fun.

Shelbie wanted a bowling cake, and let me tell you it not a very easy cake to find.

Shelbie lead here friends and family in singing here favorite version of happy birthday. She knows how to make us smile.

Glenn always brings the girls a rose for the end of the show,and the great metals they get for a job well done, always make them happy.

Shelbie and Bailey had there last dance recital of the year. They starred in marry had a little lamb and did a great job!!! They are taking the summer off from dance and taking swimming lesson and playing on the soccer team. Shelbie is going to do gymnastic in the fall and Bailey will be going back to dance.

Otter pops work best

Cassi has been getting her teeth the past few weeks, She got her first bottom tooth on 11th of may and her second on the 25th of June. I bought her a teething ring but she will have nothing to do with it, but she love otter pops and they do the trick .

Our little Bailey was in the wrong place at the wrong time! Shelbie thought it would be fun to skip rock outside of the house, but we have no water to skip rock on, so it first hit the driveway then bailey head. We tried to get around going to the doctor but the next day we went to see Dr. Whiting and with a little glue it was all better.

looking good in the sun and having fun !!!!! Pretty toe in mexico !!!!Hola mi amigos. Glenn y Jessicca encanta mexico muchos. Esta un picture of mi y glenn en el ocean. Ay ay ay ay...canta y no llores, porque cantando se allegran cieleto lindo los corazones. I'll bet you didn't know I spoke Spanish. It's amazing how I just dove right into the culture and the language just came to me so easily. It's probably because my middle name is Marree. But I think I'll change it to Maria with an accent mark over the "i." Chris and Christy met us on tuesday and the fun began we started the day in the sun where we got a little red and that night it was room service. the rest of the trip was to playa for shopping and cozemal for snorkling and water fun. christy and i spent a great afternoon at the spa. then it was lot more time on the beach in the sun a week is not long enough for mexico.
